My new dog. blog #6

 

    Recently I got a new dog that was surrendered to me on Friday March 31st, which was not all that busy of a Friday for my hospital. It was not my complete intention on taking her from the beginning but after going over things with the owner, it turned out she was just dumped on him and he was trying to just take care of her until he found someone that would take her. But to cut out personal details I ended up taking over ownership. When I told my parents I simply said that "she was surrendered and that I needed to take her for the weekend because she had eaten a rock and might needed emergency surgery over the weekend", which is 100% true, but what they didn't know is that I had every intention of keeping her as a fourth dog and as a 22 animal of the household (fish, chickens and ducks included). Even though may mother explicitly said "she knows may game and she's not going to be playing it" I can confirm that she became a permanent member of the family within 3 hours of me getting home.
